First Aid Kit for The Wedding Day; AMust Have that No One told you about!
The wedding day can have some minor mishaps that can be quickly fixed with ease if you plan ahead. I suggest using a tackle box or small suitcase. You should think about having a few things in your wedding day first aid; white chalk, clear dawn dish liquid, needle, thread, straight pins, duct tape, small safety pins, floral tape, make up, hair spray, curling iron or flat iron, hair pins, bobby pins, white wash clothes, clear polish, spare panty hose, baby wipes, comfortable light weight slippers, a few small bottles of water and an energy bar or granola bar.
Some of the things you need for your box do need a little explanation. One of these is the white chalk. White chalk is a real good way to whiten up the brides dress if the bottom of the dress has dragged on the ground and got darkened. Brushing up against a car or walking behind a car that is running can cause a dark blackish smear to appear on the dress. Just rub the white chalk on the affected area and it will cover up the blemish.
Dawn dish liquid can get makeup stains right out. Hair spray is not only good for holding your hair in place, but if you get any ink on your dress just spray the ink and blot it off with a clean wet white cloth.
Florist tape comes in handy if any of the bouquets come apart. It also is a life saver if you are shorted a few boutineers and you need to make one quickly. Just pull a flower out of the bouquet wrap it with floral tape and pin it on the lapel with a straight pin from your box.
Spare panty hose come in handy if you get a run before the garter is removed. Clear polish is good to have on hand if one of the girls starts to get a run in their hose. Just apply a small amount of clear polish to stop the run from spreading!
Baby wipes come in handy when having pictures on location. If you need to fix your make up, and if there is nowhere to go to wash it off your hands, just grab a baby wipe and that will resolve it. If you get a little wedding cake in your face, the baby wipes come in handy, it is very handy to have these for a quick clean up for your face and hair.
If someone splits their pants at your wedding no problem! Have them put some duct tape on the inside seam of the split, and the split will not be visible. The duct tape may also come in handy if the balloon arch is falling over.
Don’t forget to stay hydrated, and the snack is to keep your blood sugar form dipping causing you to get weak and dizzy. You don’t want to faint on the altar. At the reception your feet will be thankful for those comfy slippers after a few waltzes!
